Mr. Pudar is a senior Program Manager consultant with over 21 years of experience in hazard mitigation, risk assessment and floodplain management.
In hazard mitigation, for almost 10 years he managed a principal FEMA technical contractor in Southeastern United States, the area of the country most prone to hurricanes and susceptible to frequent riverine flooding. His experience includes numerous FEMA Task Orders and entails technical involvement and management of the mitigation grant reviews, benefit cost analysis, assessment of economic impact and feasibility of alternative mitigation solutions. Additional risk assessment experience includes utilization of HAZUS-MH, as well as using CDMS for HAZUS database management.
Mr.Pudar is a leading Georgia consultant for utilization of FEMA Residential Substantial Damage Estimator (RSDE). He frequently assists the Georgia Association of Floodplain Management by conducting RSDE trainings and workshops for its members and for disaster-stricken communities.
Mr. Pudar also managed water resources and floodmapping programs, predominantly on the state and regional levels. His involvement included programmatic management, technical review, public outreach and facilitation of the map adoption process.
